WHAT EXACTLY IS THE BIBLE?

To many people it is simple - the Bible is the word of God. To many others it is an ingenious hoax. A Catechism of Psychological Government which is called "Religion". In any case, most are in agreement that the true meaning of the Bible is open to debate. The true intentions behind the authors who wrote it are unknown, as are so many of the authors themselves. The reason why the books of Moses are so named is because they were simply accredited to the main player of those Chronicles who was "in the thick of it". Moses was regarded as the greatest of all prophets but the real authors are numerous and the details of whom are lost in the mists of time.

What of the prophecies in the Bible? So many predictions have come to fruition with an amazing accuracy but are only dismissed by sceptics as coincidence. Michael Drosnin in his book "The Bible Code" lays claim to a hidden code within the Old Testament. When written in its original Hebrew, consistent patterns throughout the text appear to spell out the details of events which happened centuries later, some as recent as the shooting of Israeli politician, Itzhak Rabin.
